RICKY & NATALIE
Ricky and I met online via ChristianMingle.com Thanksgiving of 2012. He was in New Mexico at the time working with a church pastor who had invited him to leave his home in Panama City, Panama to work a few months doing video production. We chatted for 1 month and then decided to meet in person on New Years Eve of 2012. The day Ricky arrived at the airport in Minneapolis was simply unforgettable - maybe it was the tacos we ate at La Hacienda Taqueria on Lake Street that made it so, but either way everything about that day was one for the books. 1 month of being officially together, Ricky proposed to me on February 19th, 2013. Of course, I said yes! We got married July 11th, 2014 and the rest is history!
Ricky is a master of coming up with musical beats, is amazing with a soccer ball and is also a Special Education Teacher. He is dedicated to our pool LOL our kids and of course, to me. He is the most loyal person I know!
I have a background as a Certified Medical Assistant in OB/GYN, family practice, podiatry, pediatrics and occupational health, as well as almost 5 years as an accountant. I crave pretzels with cheese and can't go a day without some form of chocolate.
We have four adorable, crazy kids together (3 boys and 1 girl), two cats and we live in Elk River, Minnesota.

I dove into photography as a kid. Having been around my aunt's studio and seeing her work her magic behind the camera was like a whole new world that I wanted to explore. I first learned how to develop my own film in a dark room, then I had my first job as a teen at a photo finishing company. In 2013 I set out on my own and began capturing weddings, families, babies and brands.
I am beyond excited to be here, to have the knowledge that I have to help other photographers, and to be of assistance to couples that haven't been down this journey before. Having been a part of many weddings over the years I can tell you what works and what doesn't.
I love directing my couples - guiding them on what to do, how to stand, where to put their hands, etc. I may get in your personal bubble and adjust your hair if a few strands are acting rebellious and I most certainly will say "just one more photo.." and proceed to take 10 more.
