Best Wedding Venues in Minnesota - A Collection of Our Favorite Venues

Union Depot Groom Wedding Getting Ready Black Tux

It doesn't take long in this industry to realize which venues are your favorite to shoot at - but most importantly, it's evident that whichever venue you choose for your wedding just know that the wall paint color, carpet or flooring color, lighting, and overall aesthetic will all play a role in how your wedding will look on print and in video. It's a no brainer that a dark, orangey barn is going to cast orange tones onto everyone and everything, not to mention the lack of lighting will just mean that a majority of your photos will be taken with a flash.

While we do consider ourselves a destination wedding photographer & videographer team, and we have plenty of venues that we love outside of Minnesota, we wanted to create this list specifically for our local couples in need of some suggestions. So without further ado, here are some of our favorite venues that will compliment any style wedding you have.

(Best Wedding Venues in Minnesota)

from left to right

  1. The Hutton House for it's modern classic aesthetics, the open terrace for your ceremony and the fireside room for cocktail hour. Nestled in a quaint neighborhood in Medicine Lake, The Hutton House has it all in one place.

  2. Bavaria Downs and it's sister venue, Equestria West, is European charm in the country side of Chaska. I will never get over the french blue doors in the bridal suite. Step out through the back door from the library and you'll see a beautiful fountain and a path that leads you to their outdoor ceremony site with a gorgeous black wrought iron arbor.

  3. Urban Daisy is quite literally a daisy in an urban jungle. Just blocks from downtown Minneapolis but far out enough that it's away from the chaos that most downtown cities bring. If you love moss & plant walls, Urban Daisy is for you. Their white palette, wide open layout, loft and huge windows make this space perfect for any style wedding.

7. The Beach Club (formerly known as The Calhoun Beach Club), is steps away from Bde Maka Ska in downtown Minneapolis. The balcony overlooking the lake, the massive crystal chandeliers and the cascading staircase leading you into your ceremony, are all what make The Beach Club so unique, elegant and regal.

8. The Union Depot is a historic train station in downtown St. Paul. If you're having a large wedding, the Union Depot is a great place to start.

9. Interlachen Country Club is known for it's Ralph Lauren-esque vibes, and it is precisely why so many couples choose to say their I Do's here.
